Dry Sift is a fast-burning, versatile concentrate that comes from the plant’s trichome heads. It is most commonly collected using a series of screens of varying sizes. When collected, dry sift is regarded as having a higher potency than flower, often reaching 50% to 60% THC levels.
One of the biggest advantages of dry sift is that it’s made through a solventless process, which keeps the entire trichome gland intact and yields a full-spectrum concentrate. This process also eliminates the potential for harmful solvent residue in the concentrate.
Another benefit of dry sift is that it not only contains high concentrations of THC, but also offers flavinoids, terpenes, and other cannabinoids.
Dry sift can be used on its own, mixed with tobacco, or mixed with cannabis buds for additional potency. It is also ideal for pressing your own rosin.
Due to the concentrated nature of extracts, if you don’t have a high THC tolerance it’s best to “start low and go slow”.
